The Beaches of Bohol - I'll Be Back Soon

One thing is for sure, I’ll be back in Bohol one of these days. I’ve already visited a lot of beaches here in the Philippines, but I don’t know why I can’t forget Bohol. The place mesmerized me to fall in love with its serene blue waters, white sand and calm ocean breeze.

I wrote this post to reminisce my 2009 Bohol Tour. I haven’t uploaded these photos yet. Through these pictures, let me tell you the reasons why I want to go back to this place someday.

It took us around 30 minutes before we arrived in Balicasag Island via boat. Our island hopping and snorkeling activity is one of the best part of the tour. I didn't apply any sunblock with SPF. Can you imagine how the sun burned my skin that day? But getting tanned was worth it.

Before we arrived at the island, we had some dolphin-chasing-watching experience in the midst of Bohol waters.

After the dolphins - time for hundreds of fish, fish and fish. Snorkelling in Balicasag Island - feel like you are Aerial and then look for Nemo. I am not good at swimming but I never feared floating in the middle of the sea with these sea creatures.

I was so amazed of the cystal clear beach water of Bohol. You can even look at it and see your reflection and use the water as mirror.

Yes, I love sunset. It is one of the best part of the day whenever I go to the beach. But, this photo was taken at sunrise viewed from Bohol Beach Club. :)

That's all for now. But I promise myself, after visiting all the beautiful islands here in the Philippines, I will go back in Bohol. Xoxo!

  1. Hey Carol!

Nice blog. I went to Bohol this Nov but didnt get the chance to see Panglao. I was with college friends and we just had a city tour, sidetrip during our Cebu trip since it was just 2hrs away via ferryboat. Well, just want to ask where you stayed in Panglao. Kasi we plan to spend our Holy week there. I checked with Dumaluan and I think its reasonable enough since they have good amenities. Di ko kasi makita pics mo in Bohol. I want to check sana thru pics. :) Reply soon please. muwah

  2. Hi Kat! :)

Sorry sobrang late ng reply ko. We stayed at Bohol Beach Club. The place is good dahil maganda yung beach and may mga live bands sa gabi. Bohol Beach Club beside Dumaluan Beach which offers reasonable price. They have a website. The last time I called them around 2000 plus and room with air-condition. Enjoy sa vacation mo. =)
